Kristin LaVoy has spent her entire 18 year legal career in indigent defense. She is currently the Training Director for Michigan’s State Appellate Defender Office. She previously served as the Training Director for NDS Detroit and for Wayne County, as an assistant appellate defender at the State Appellate Defender Office, and a trial level defender in Wayne County.
